Thirsk under 13/12s played at home against Middlesborough under 13s on sunday 7th March and had a comprehensive win of 94 points to 12, scoring 14 tries and 12 conversions.

Whitby playing their first full contact game scored first taking Thirsk by surprise, after some hard work from both teams the the half time whistle went with the score of two tries each. In the second half Thirsk kicked into gear and scored a further three tries with no response.
Click here to view the result detailThirsk played wensleydale at home in 2 games and lost the first 15-20, but won the second 15-10 on a windy and bitterly cold morning.Although Thirsk lost the 1st game there was no lack of commitment in the way they played,as always Thirsk were a little slow out of the blocks and took the 1st half of the 1st game to get into game mode but after that they applied huge amounts of what they have been doing in training into match situation,They competed hard in the tight and passed the ball well to find space out wide which was a real pleasure to see and watch the 30 or so spectators watching had lots to cheer about and made for a real good match atmosphere.
